The Penn Battle II features a full non-corrosive metal body, sideplate, and rotor, which is good for both fresh or saltwater fishing. The reel feels premium and sturdy but is heavier than most reels. It can easily be taken apart for cleaning especially after saltwater use. The inside is packed with Penn’s proprietary blue grease (precision grease).
